THE STORY BEHIND TOLLIVER LIGHTING
I was born and raised in Georgetown, KY and spent my childhood years on my grandparents' broodmare farm in Paris, KY, my high school years playing basketball and running track for Georgetown High School.
For the better part of 40 years, I worked in electrical supply sales, and I've decided to parlay my knowledge into my own creations. Retirement isn't only about throwing out the calendar, it's about honing in on what matters. For me, making these lamps is not only about spreading my artistic wings, but helping an organization that I'm passionate about; the Wounded Warrior Project. I spent four years in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era and saw numerous men and women come home from that war with both physical and emotional wounds. Thankfully, in 2003, the Wounded Warrior Project was born and in the years since , has helped thousands of returning military personnel and their families transition from a life of war to one of peace and dignity. The way of life we cherish doesn’t exist without our military, and this is why I support the Wounded Warrior Project.
